Southampton Homestead and Farm have quickly established themselves as a leading pastured poultry enterprise in the south west of Western Australia. Southampton’s Michelle McManus and Jeff Pow have developed the ‘Southampton Poultry Processing Model‘ (SPPM) and are actively working with Regrarians to provide materials and support to other producers and start ups around the world.

Southampton Food Safety Program

The purpose of this Food Safety Program is to ensure that Southampton Homestead and Farm produces and supplies safe, hygienic and wholesome product that complies with food safety requirements. This 70+ page document can serve as a template for the development of your own package of compliance documents. This Food Safety Program has been approved by Western Australian state and municipal government officials. Australia has some of the toughest food safety regulations and standards in the world and so this document will help existing enterprises and start ups alike in establishing compliance and compliant practices.
